Description

Truly Rare 1959 Stereo LP by The IMPALAS entitled "Sorry (I ran All the Way Home) still SEALED in its original clear plastic. Record on Cub label S-CUB 8003 (stereo). Rare early rock & Roll gem that was the only album put out by the group under "the Impalas" name. Quartet group that featured Joe "Speedo" Frazier, Dick Wagner, Tony Carlucci and Lenny Renda. Record feature 12 tracks? including : title track, Sandy Went Away, Woodchuck Song, Fool Fool Fool, She Belongs to Me, Cupid, Oh What A Fool, the Loves We Share, Chum, All but the Memory of You, Mommy-O', (You Want) Too Much Too Soon. Produced and conducted by Leroy Holmes.

Record condition is Unopened/ Untouched/ NrMint/Mint. Item is still in original clear plastic wrapper with (Orig. price tags on front). Plastic wrap shows some wear (mostly on the edges) from years of upright storage. I have owned for approx. 8 years and since then has been kept in mylar record sleeve for protection. I have included many pictures including front and back full shots and areas of the cello that are effected by wear. No visable ring wear to the cover (protected by plastic). Bottom jacket edge with split from storage that is approx. 2" wide. Outside plastic with small hole - top right corner- (appears to have been made by a previous owner) approx. 1" wide. On back cover (inside the hole) they have neatly written a small date (possibly when they aquired the record) "8/6/67" -approx. 1/8" tall by 5/8" wide in pen (sorry it is light and does not show up in the picture with flash).  There is some general clouding to the plastic cover and mild dust accumulation within (see pic) most occuring at the bottom of the record. The record itself is untouched Mint? condition. As good as it gets still sealed condition for this rare album. Goldmine (4th edition) listed as $600.00 for Open/ NR Mint condition.
