The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion: Extra Width LP, Vinyl, Matador, 1993 The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion was an American three-piece rock band from New York City, formed in 1991. The group consisted of Judah Bauer on guitar, backing vocals, harmonica and occasional lead vocals, Russell Simins on drums and Jon Spencer on vocals, guitar and theremin. Their musical style is largely rooted in rock and roll. although it draws influences from punk, blues, garage, rockabilly, soul, noise rock, rhythm and blues and hip hop.
Extra Width is the third album by the punk blues group The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, released in 1993.

This is the original US Matador release from 1992. It comes in it's original cellophane sleeve, as it was when I brought this LP in Borderline. On the cellophane is the original sticker saying where to file it (see photos).

It has been kept in storage in a smoke free household. It is from a large and varied record collection, not a DJ collection. This record has never been DJed and is in good condition.
There is evidence of minor foxing on the sleeve from being in storage.
On Side A, there is one wee crackle in the run in. The rest, well that thing howls away.
Turn it over to Side B, there are crackles in the run up to the first cow bell of track 1. There are crackles between tracks 1 and 2. Everything else rages to that sonic threshold.
