Description
Hello, you are bidding on an extremely rare TEST PRESSING of the iconic classic The Lonesome Crowded West by Modest Mouse. These were made by RTI on September 24, 1997 on double vinyl, with Sides A/B and Sides C/D packaged in separate plain white outer sleeves with the date ( SEP 24 1997) and release number (UP 044, then either A/B or C/D) stamped in the upper right hand front corner. Each record is in a loose plastic sleeve with the right side perforated for opening, the A/B record being completely sealed and the C/D record being opened but new and unused (due to the nature of the perforations the sleeve has opened over the years with rearrangement and moving) and even comes with the small plastic strip that became detached. The sleeves are both flawless and appear brand new. This Test Press was purchased directly from an employee at UP records and has been stored in LP frames since the day I received them, more photos available if needed upon request.
