Rather curious, this one. This is the first UK press of Pink Floyd's 'Relics' on the Starline label.
The record itself is nice, still has a good sheen and I would grade it around VG+, perhaps VG++, it plays well, all through just a little background hiss between tracks. The labels are very nice, no issues.
Now, regarding the sleeve. It is a classic 'Garrod & Lofthouse' and appears to be textured. I say, appears to be textured as it's also fully-laminated and, as I'm sure you noticed, coloured. There are a few sleeve variants out there but I cannot find one like this. I bought it recently as part of a 'lot' so I'm unable to ask the previous owner if he can shed any light on the differing sleeve. As far as I can tell, it does not appear to have been done on a 'DIY' basis as it looks too neat and consistent for that.
If anyone can add anything, or explain where it came from, I would be happy to hear from you. I'm hoping that it is some kind of 'one-off' mega rarity - you never know!! As for grading, the sleeve is pretty nice. There are a couple of tiny 'pin prick' holes in two of the corners which suggests it may have spent some time on someone's wall. I would conservatively grade it as VG+ but it's probably a little better than that, as you can see.
