Description
I am downsizing my classic rock collection and will be selling a number of my LP's over the couple of weeks. Up for auction is a beautiful original pressing of the U.S. release of A&M Records The Police, "Synchronicity" produced in 1983, mastered by Robert Ludwig (his initials are in the dead wax on side 1). My main goal was to collect Near Mint versions of original vinyl for my rock collection, I wanted the same for the outer and inner sleeves as well, but the main priority was to to get the best quality vinyl as possible for the best audio quality, and also to get the best versions. As far as condition goes, everything is in Near Mint condition, I bought this album new in shrink, took off the shrink (I kept the original shrink with the hype sticker that shows that the record was pressed on KC-600 audiophile vinyl (please see the photos)). The vinyl itself is in beautiful near mint condition, it is translucent gray as viewed through a strong light source, this record came pressed in translucent purple or translucent brown quiex vinyl as well in other first pressings, no marks or flaws of any kind, and the labels are also near mint. The record plays with near mint quality as well, no sonic issues of any kind. As far as the dead wax goes, it shows SP-03735-A-EUR-2 MASTERDISK RL M1 (MR) Sf1SM12 EDP on side 1, and SP-03735-B-EUR-4 MASTERDISK RL M1 (MR) Sf1SM19 EDP on side 2 on side 2 as called out by Discogs for one of the true first pressings (there were many variations of the first pressings). I will only sell to the continental United States, no international shipping. I will send via US Postal Service Media Mail. No reserve, just a very reasonable starting bid.
