Description

A 1st issue of Beggars Banquet on the UK Decca label from 1968. Matrix 4k/4k. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original stereo gatefold cover printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. Also included is the original blue and white Decca inner sleeve. So, 100% original and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-) In great shape and has only seen moderate use. Under close inspection there are numerous light marks on both sides - but they are the superficial type and do not cause issue. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with very good clarity.  We only detected light interference in occasional isolated moments. Whilst this LP has seen a reasonable amount of use playback really is surprisingly good.
Cover (Ex-) This cover is a difficult one to find in top condition. This example has survived the years far better than most. A really nice white front and back with only a few creases along the spine. Edge wear is moderate and only really noticeable along the spine. Overall the cover retains great rigidity. A superb specimen.
Inner (Ex) Nice shape with no splits.
