Description

Goats Head Soup is the eleventh studio album by the Worlds Greatest Rock and Roll Band. Released in 1973 on the bands Rolling Stones Record label. Features the chart-topping single ‘Angie’. The album was the last to be produced by studio ace Jimmy Miller. Featuring BobbyKeys (sax) and Nicky Hopkins and Billy Preston (keyboards). Goats Head achieved #1 status in the UK, US and other world markets. Initially not critically acclaimed it was looked at as a declining effort but has risen in status over the years. Like ‘Exile On Main Street’ it was largely recorded abroad, mostly in Jamaica as the Stones were then tax exiles in the US. Marvelous album in crisp condition here.
