Description

An original 1st press of TTPD on the UK Decca label from 1969. Matrix 1W/2W - very 1st press. Stampers 1-BB/1-BU. Please note label design is consistent with earliest 1st press - those tape numbers are still inverted. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original hexagonal shaped gatefold cover with exposed flipbacks. Also included is the original hexagon shaped inner sleeve too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. A very solid performance all the way through without issue. Interference is pretty much totally absent. We couldn't detect more than a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. A beaut!
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has been looked after down the years. Nothing worse than a touch of lightest ageing in a couple of spots front and back. The interior looks fine with secure flipbacks. Edge wear is relatively light for this title. The spine does have one inch of wear at the top so don't expect to be able to read all the text [it's still in above average condition]. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) No tears or splits and pretty much unaged. A couple of tiny marks.
