The STANDELLS
"TRY IT" / "POOR SHELL OF A MAN" ~ Tower, 310 ~ Original U.S. pressing ~ Released May 1967
~ 7" record in picture sleeve.
CONDITION - COVER: ( VG+[+] ) All four corners of the sleeve are square, although there are tiny crinkles and scuffing present. It has a crease in the top left corner and another on the right-hand edge, plus a couple of very small tears on the top (opening) edge. There are no other bends, or folds. It has the extremely minor beginnings of ringwear....and basically, nothing else to complain about - it's beautiful! The photos here should be enough to show you exactly what to expect.
CONDITION - RECORD: ( VG++ ) Has marks on the vinyl similar in look to the effect of oil of the surface of water (if you can imagine that) - I think from a reaction to the clear PVC outer sleeve it's been kept in for so long, but it has virtually no effect on the sound and is a great LOUD listen...plays beautifully! The vinyl is so close to mint (say, M-) if you disregard that effect. The labels are both mint.
PACKAGING AND MAILING: Absolutely ALL care will be taken when packaging this - record and sleeve are separated to avoid any damage in transit, and both are packed in a sealed outer polyethylene sleeve between layers of strong very flat and thick card - I've been doing this for 30+ years and am proud of my 'no damage' record.
