Description

Original pressing of The Velvet Underground & Nico on Verve Records, featuring the iconic Andy Warhol banana cover with the peelable sticker intact.

Details:

  • Artist: The Velvet Underground & Nico
  • Label: Verve Records (V6-5008, Stereo)
  • Cover: Andy Warhol banana artwork with “Peel Slowly and See”
  • Banana sticker: Present and appears unpeeled/intact
  • Vinyl: Black LP included (see photos for label and condition)

Condition:

  • Vinyl: Very good condition. Shows light surface marks consistent with age but no obvious deep scratches. Has not been play-tested.
  • Cover: Shows visible wear from age, including discoloration, edge wear, and handling marks. Banana sticker shows some natural aging.
  • Sleeve/Insert: Original gatefold included with typical wear for its age.
  • Photos: Some glare is present due to lighting; condition is best judged by reviewing all images carefully.
