The Yardbirds LIVE YARDBIRDS LP Feat. JIMMY PAGE 1971

The Yardbirds with "Live Yardbirds" from 1971 released on Epic Records, E 30615, Stereo. This is a super tough album to find, it went out of print and was reissued only once in the late 70's. This is the early original pressing on Epic, and the label is white. I've seen most copies with the standard yellow Epic label, so I'm not sure if this is a promo copy or what. See below from Wikipedia;

"Live Yardbirds: Featuring Jimmy Page is a live album released by English blues rock band The Yardbirds in 1971 of their live performance at the Anderson Theatre in New York City on 30 March 1968. Although live, Epic had overdubbed crowd noises from bullfights onto the original tracks, against the band's wishes.

It quickly went out of print, though it was reissued once by Columbia Special Products in the late seventies (this quickly went out of print as well). Counterfeit copies in black & white covers do exist, which are sometimes labeled as being Promotional Copies. Jimmy Page has obtained legal injunctions against companies who have planned to reissue it on compact disc. For this reason, it is the rarest Yardbirds album.

The cover art was designed by James Grashow (www.jamesgrashow.com), the same woodcut artist who created Jethro Tull's Stand Up artwork."

*DIGITAL MP3 CD AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST!*

I can burn all records onto a blank disc for you using a USB turntable, and also separate and name each individual track. Additionally, I will use a software filter to remove background noise. If you would like a copy of the actual album you are bidding on transferred and burned to digital format, please let me know at the end of the auction. I charge $8 per record/disc - it is a tedious process and takes a minimum of one hour. $8/hour = is that even minimum wage? In any case, I enjoy listening to the albums and I could care less about making money. It's a break even deal that gives both of us precious time with our music. And that's priceless ;-)

VG (6) : Will have a fair amount of visible scratches/scuffs/playmarks and there is a possibility of surface noise, but no skips.

VG+ (7) : You can tell it's used, but will play through just fine.

EX (8) : Someone has cared for this LP very nicely. Maybe only 1 or 2 light blemishes. Or 3 if it's 20+ years old. Will sound great.)

Nr MINT (9) : Like new.

I CLEAN ALL OF MY RECORDS BEFORE THEY GO UP ON EBAY! Aren't I a nice guy? I use D4 solution and a cleaning brush and finish it off with a microfiber cloth. The LP will be nice and shiny, free of prints, and ready to go directly to your turntable. (*Please remember - cleaning doesn't remove scratches, so please read the grading and condition section carefully)

PAYPAL ONLY!

Shipping in the U.S. is done through USPS Media Mail for a cost of $4.30 - NOT $4.00! This is the price for 1 LP. If there are multiple LPs in the auction, additional shipping charges will be clearly stated in the top portion of the description.

This includes a brand new 13x13 sturdy cardboard shipping box and bubble wrap. If you would like insurance, PLEASE ASK before sending payment so I can calculate the additional fee. INSURANCE IS MANDATORY ON ANYTHING DOMESTIC OVER $20! You will be charged for it and the reasons are obvious.

I am also more than happy to combine shipping charges at a cost of .75 per additional LP. Take your time and save some money if there are other records that you would like to bid on.

If you are an International Bidder, expect to pay anywhere from $15-$25 for Int'l Shipping.

Sorry - NO RETURNS. I take an extraordinary amount of time to visually grade and package these items. You will get what is described in this listing. If the package is damaged in transit, then you will have to kick yourself for not asking for insurance.

Check out my feedback. Been on eBay for 10 years and counting. Not one negative, and I plan to keep it that way.
