Released: 1964

CONDITION:

Vinyl: VG-, Several superficial scuffs on B-side and some scratches on the A-side, sound is nice and strong but there is background noise, blistering around spindle hole and on the label from being washed.

Sleeve: VG+, Actually, pretty nice! Slight ringwear both front and back, a few storage scuffs on the front, no splitting, corners are still nice. Please see pictures.

Up for auction is a copy of The Zip-Code's 1964 tribute to that groundbreaking 289 V8 giant from Detroit!  The Lp itself has been played quite a bit, and has seen better days.  Still, not a bad listening copy if you've got an old turntable.  (If you're looking to add this to your collection as a vinyl collector, this is what I would call "a nice placeholder.")

The reason I'm putting this up for sale, really, is for the cover.  It features, both front and back, a Mustang 289 4-speed in "Competition Orange" (or "Poppy Red").  Also has nice interior shots of the 4-speed shifter and the steering column is shown with the optional "Rally Pac" clock and tachometer.  This would look great framed in a garage or man cave, and if you already have one of these framed next to your '64 1/2... why not buy this one to frame and show off the back as well?
