Description
This auction is for what I believe to be the original UK pressing of the album. Its serial number is S 63280, and it’s got what I call the original orange CBS rock label in the centre. It has a stick-on silver sticker on the back top right corner of the sleeve with ‘Stereo’ in black characters.
Unfortunately, I have no way of playing this. I’ve visually inspected it as closely as I can, and there does not appear to be any marks. At worst, I’d have said there was light scratching – very light – and not much of that. There’s no evidence of any spindle marks around the centre hole.
I guess I’d describe the condition as ‘good’, but I’m no record dealer. It may be even better, but I don’t think the record itself is any worse.
It’s somewhat let down by its cover, which suffered water damage which has left it with a ‘wavy’ appearance (that’s the best way I can describe it – a sort of soft, top-to-bottom undulation). The corners of the sleeve are slightly scuffed, as is the leading edge, but the spine isn’t too bad at all. The front is OK, the back is lightly marked. It comes with the original CBS inner paper sleeve.
The best I can tell you is, I used to look after my records – always picking them up so as not to get finger prints on the tracks, replacing them in the sleeve immediately after use – and putting the sleeve back in the cover with the open side facing upwards. I rarely lent my LPs to anyone.
For a 40+ year old vinyl album, I’d have said it was in pretty good shape – but I’m sure it’s not perfect.

I’ve seen examples of this on eBay that are perhaps in better condition (especially the sleeve) – but for significantly more money than my starting price. It could be you could get yourself a bargain.
