Dear Record-Collectors,

This week, I am offering you a selection of rare mono Lps from my personal collection.

All LPs have been thoroughly inspected, including a playcheck on my mono set (Lenco L 70 with the original heavy arm and the Denon DL 102 mono cartridge). Please note that the sound impression may vary if these Records shpould be played on a stereo set!

All records have been washed and put into new inner sleeves. If the original inner sleeves are still available, they will be delivered together with the new sleeve and the LP.

one 12-inch Long Play Record on Vox PL 7230, pressed in USA, mono,

this live recording from 1945 was published by VOX in 1952 without permission of Mr. Furtwangler. He sued the company which had to retrieve the LP soon from the market. This is the second copy I have seen in 30 years of record collecting


SLEEVE: sleeve one is ex-, it is entire without splits, but has a stain on the back

RECORD: good, side one suffered one accident. as visible in the fotos, it's surface has white spots. This might be a production problem, but I rather guess the disc suffered a paint spray. I play tested this side several times and found out that the damage is far less than i thought. in some passages there are repeated pops, but nothing is offensive, there are no skips, my mono needle passes through without problems. side two has several surface marks which cause ticks but no skips, the grooves are quite good- you can hear the public caughing, so the sound fidelity is still acceptable :-)

usually I do not offer records in this condition, but given the rarity of this item, I decided to bring it to auction here
