Description
I'm in the process of converting all my albums to MP3. I have always tried to take care of my records and always returned them to the sleeve after playing. I have listened to the album before listing.
This album is: THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIES REQUEST by THE ROLLLING STONES released in 1967 on the DECCA label. Made in ENGLAND. Catalogue number TXL 103 MONO. This is an original first press mono LP with the blue Decca Grooved label with fully laminated 3D artwork gatefold sleeve.
Side 1. The vinyl is in good condition, clean and shiny. There are several hairline marks across the vinyl but these do not seem to interfere with the playing of the tracks which generally play very well. There is a slight skip at the intro to track 2 The matrix number on the run off edge is ARL-8126-1P. The label is in good condition but with a few signs of spindle wear.
Side 2. As side 1 the vinyl is in good condition, clean and shiny. All tracks on this side play well except for a couple of skips during track 4. There are a several hairline marks but these do not appear to generally interfere with playback. The matrix number on the run off edge is ARL-8127-P1. The label is in similar condition to that on side 1.
The cover is the original gatefold cover which is in very good condition. The front of the gatefold is clean with a few small creases and very few signs of ring wear. The reverse of the gatefold is in very good condition also with a few small creases and all text is visible. The centre of the gatefold is in very good condition with very few marks or creases. The edges of the cover are all intact and show few signs of wear. The top left hand edge corner of the gatefold opening has some signs of wear with a small tear. The spine shows quite a lot of wear and the text MONO TXL 103 is visible but the text DECCA is not completely visible. The inner sleeve is the original but it is not in great condition. It is badly torn down one side and the bottom edge of the sleeve also has a slight tear.
