Description

I am parting with my 30 odd year old collection of audiophile records.  Most are direct to disc, half speed masters or the “chosen pressing’.  Unless otherwise noted, all unsealed records are near mint and appear un-played.  They have only been played by the very finest of cartridges, arms and players.

Sheffield Lab Recordings

For forty years, the award-winning natural sound of Sheffield Lab has been recognized throughout the world as the reference standard for musical and sonic excellence. Sheffield is the label that single-handedly brought audiophile recordings to high profile status with the astonishingly realistic quality of its direct-to-disc recordings.

This is a new factory sealed original pressing of Sheffield Lab-2. I will include, at no extra cost a very high quality CD copy of my personal Lab-2 record. This was recorded using a  Counterpoint SA-1R tube preamp and a modified Linn Sondek turntable set up by Dr. Sao Win.

I've Got the Music In Me  was recorded live to master disc and was released by Sheffield Lab in 1975, Cat# Lab-2. Featuring the dynamic vocals of Thelma Houston and a stellar group of outstanding session players including Larry Knechtel, Lincoln Mayorga, Larry Carlton, Jim Gordon, Tom Scott, Michael Omartian and others.
