Original issue on 12" L.P., deep groove. 446 W. 50th St., N.Y.C. address on bopth labels and the bottom of the back cover. Leader, Monk, piano on all 10 tracks. 4 tracks recorded in 1952 with Gary Mapp, bass and Art Blakey, drums. 4 tracks recorded on a separate date din 1953 with Mapp, bass and Max Roach, drums. 2 tracks recorded in 1954 with Percy Heath, bass and Art Blakey, drums.

Cover: VG+ or Better. Intact and clean. Light aging and very light soil from ordinary handling. 2 small creases on the front cover that may have originated at the time the jacket was produced. Also, a small line tht may near the upper part of the front cover near the insert edge. This is barely noticeable. Fine condition.

Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. Played only a few times with care. Possibly 2 short, extremely light passage groove noise that is barely audible for 1 revolutions each. The record is very close to Mint and is in fine condition. Audibly checked.
