Description

An original 1st press of L&D on the UK vertigo label. Matrix 4/2/1/1. Etching - The Lyre Symbol which denotes Utopia mastering. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover with both bespoke inner sleeves. There's also an original promo/poster insert. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of very light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. A pretty straight forward Ex+. It plays clean right the way through without a whiff of background. I couldn't make out more than a couple of crackles per side, and one isolated slight tick during 'Moonlight' . A really sweet player which would be difficult to equal let alone better.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Wowzers...really fantastic condition. Lovely clean front and back with barely a whiff of handling - very very sweet looking. On the front top right there's a tiny amount of sticker residue - it's so slight you have to tilt the cover to make it out. The interior looks superb with just some uber light handling at the foot. Edge is incredibly minor with sharp openings. The spine is 100% perfect - not sure I've ever seen that before. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity.
Inners (Ex+) No splits. Puuurfect..
Poster/Insert (Ex+) No ageing or issues.
