Description

An original 1st press of L & D on the UK Vertigo label. Matrix 3/2/1/1. Etching - The Lyre of UTOPIA. Pressing weight is not too bad. There's a satisfying bulge in the labels which suggest these are a tad heavier than some copies. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included are both original bespoke inner sleeves. So 100% genuine and 100% complete. Will ship with generic poly-lined inners sleeves for maximum protection.
Vinyl (Ex+/Ex+) In super condition and has only seen the very lightest of use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of very light marks on disk 2... nothing remotely troublesome. The surfaces of both disks are like mirrors. Just take a look at those label shots - these bad boys are super low-mileage. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Precious little to complain at....at all. This copy plays clean - and consistently clean throughout. Even 'Still in Love With You'...the super low-key track plays totally clean with nothing more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments [extremely unusual]. You'll struggle to make out more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side [e.g. right at the intro to Cowboy]. A truly epic copy - would be difficult just equalling this one...FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) A super looking specimen with well preserved colours and minimal wear. There's hardly any sign of wear or creasing on the front..[ditto the rear]. The interior is in excellent condition and there's little to find fault with. There's minimal edge wear - just light touch on front bottom edge. The openings are still sharp so this cover really has been looked after very carefully. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. You'll struggle to find a better looking example no matter how long you look.
Inners (Ex+) Faultless with no splits or wear.
