Description
We are privileged to have acquired Dave Swarbrick's personal record collection, and are delighted to present it to the market for a limited time (please scroll down for specific details of this record...)
The collection includes several rare and sought-after items, including many on which Swarb played, either with Fairport Convention, in his solo capacity, or in collaboration with artists such as Martin Carthy, Simon Nicol and others.
LPs by Swarbrick's contemporaries such as Sandy Denny, Richard Thompson and Nick Drake also formed part of his vinyl music library at home, and are offered for sale alongside other rare and collectable folk LPs from the 1960s, 1970s and later.
Buyers can enjoy the knowledge that they have acquired a record directly associated with the UK's best-loved folk-rock legend - straight from his private collection.
To mark this one-off sale a limited number of certificates, signed by Swarb, will be available to early buyers providing documented authentication of his ownership.

Trevor Lucas Overlander UK vinyl LP.
Reality RY 1002, 1966.
This is one of the rarest of all folk albums, and comes from Dave Swarbrick's private collection. Swarbrick and Lucas would later work together in a post-Denny/Thompson incarnation of Fairport in the early 1970s.
Details:
Vinyl: Good to VG, with a number of marks.
Labels: VG to EX
Sleeve: EX to EX+. Full front-and-back laminate and spines entirely in tact. No significant creasing or discolouring. Rear sleeve has "D Swarbrick" written in biro on top left-corner (this is historical rather than an autograph!)
Comes with authentication certificate signed by Swarb.
