Description
All the vinyl I sell I personally listen to on my Rega P3 before listing to ensure correct description.
No discernable surface noise, clicks and pops means the record plays as near new with nothing to mar your listening pleasure.
I only sell vinyl in top condition unless I state otherwise.
The only vinyl I sell which is not near mint are possibly rare records which are very hard to find and a less than near mint album is acceptable because of the scarcity.
I always describe this vinyl as it sounds notifying the surface noise clicks pops etc.
Tubby Hayes and the Jazz Couriers Ft Ronnie Scott
LABEL: Tempo Tap 15
Matrix – VMGT 1224 1E and VMGT 1225 1E
YEAR –Not given but believe late 50’s early 60’s. Tracks recorded in August 1957
Vinyl – In clean condition to look at with some scratches and marks. This is not up to the usual condition I sell but being a rare record on Tempo have decided to list.
I have played and listened and describe from that experience. There is some light surface noise, mainly on quieter areas and between tracks. There is occasional light clicks but nothing particularly repetitive or obtrusive. It was still an enjoyable listen as it is a superb recording on 163gm vinyl. Due to this records age it has probably been played in the past on equipment of the day and possibly autochangers so it is even more remarkable that the music shines through.
Inner Sleeve – Plain white paper in very good condition
Outer sleeve – laminated card good condition with spine intact if a little compressed and a little edge wear/creasing, mainly at the disc opening where a bit of laminate is also missing. The comprehensive rear notes are fully legible and completely cover the album rear. The rear is a little yellowed with age
