Description

Tubby Hayes "Tubby's Groove".Tempo TAP 29.UK Original.VG/VG.
1959 First pressing.Made by Decca with grooved labels.Mono only (no stereo exists).
Matrix side 1 VMGT 1636 1B  side 2  VMGT 1637 1B

Cover is in just VG condition.Basically ok but with some damage in a few places.The main problem being a tear on front opening edge (repaired with tape).Please see photos.
 
Vinyl VG. Plays ok for the most part.I listened to all tracks and took notes.Which are
side 1
track 1       Some fairly minimal crackle. Clear sound without wear or distortion.
track 2       Softish tics throughout and some crackle.
track 3       Light tics at start settle down fairly quickly.Some crackle.
side 2
track 5       Plays well.No problems to speak of.
track 6       Lightish crackle.No problems to speak of.
track 7       Lightish crackle.No problems to speak of.

The sound quality is actually quite good throughout.Clear,undistorted sound.Free from wear you get sometimes on older records.

I have tried to describe the sound as accurately as possible.

Labels VG are both ok but have a number of spindle marks.

Original inner is VG.

All items carefully graded and if need be, played/checked on Dual 601 deck with Shure V15,Roksan Kandy amp and B&W Floorstanders.

NM = Is top grade for all but new still sealed LP's.Very highest condition only graded NM.
