"BOBIL" etched into the run off grooves. "H" and "GA" mother stampers.
So, so hard to find, VDGG's all time classic album and here it is where it all came together from start to finish although the three predecessors were awesome in their own right!! Splendid maniacal existential prog album.
THE STEREO REPRODUCTION IS GREAT AND EVERY NOTE IS HEARD CLEARLY AND CRISPLY WITHOUT DISTORTION. THERE IS MILD STATIC IN PLACES. NEEDLESS TO SAY, NO STICKS OR JUMPS!
Gatefold sleeve: VG to VG+. This is the original E.J. Day Group gatefold sleeve which is perfectly flat without major creases. It has two stickers top right with a price. The edges do have storage wear and the spine is just partly legible (60%). the inside gatefold is nice. There is no writing. NO tears, NO splits.
Vinyl: VG+. Great classic album with a beautiful glossy sheen. This vinyl has been played and it is visible through a few hairlines and one mark on Man-Erg which produces a couple of low level clicks. It retains a nice gloss and plays throughout without any faults. The audio is actually excellent for most of the time bar a couple of low level pops on the mark. Some light static can be heard in very silent places. This is the very first press on the pink scroll label and as such a heavy vinyl. Needless to say NO jumps, NO skips.
Not for the hardcore mint or EX collector but still a very decent example indeed.
This is a unique investment opportunity!!! The next prog album to go completely through the roof. Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.
