Description
Very nice copy of this Prog classic on the Charisma ‘Hatter’ label. This comes with a reproduction copy of the rare lyric sheet, as well as a VG copy of the band’s 1972 single ‘Theme One/W’. This didn’t come with the LP originally but makes a nice ‘companion piece’. Older music fans will recognise the tune as the music which originally opened Radio 1 early in the morning! It was composed by the late, great George Martin. Matrices for the LP are A-1U/B-1U, still an early pressing. B&C credits are shown on the labels.
Gatefold sleeve – VG+ In good order, with scuffing along the spine and a touched-in sticker tear on the front right corner.
Labels – Ex+ One or two plays only?
Inner sleeve – Ex Original plain white bag.
Reproduction Lyric sheet – As new
Record – Visually Ex+ with superb ‘as new’ sheen. Playback is Ex- with generally great audio, but there is light crackle in the quieter passages (mainly Side 2)
Bonus single – Pink scroll Charisma CB 175. Record and cover are both VG
