rare German first press 21LP vinyl box set released on DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON GESELLSCHAFT (DGG) stereo label with small tulips and catalognumber 419575-1. Laminated box, complete with booklet and vinyl in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - perfect! Vinyl obviously mostly unplayed... Features some of the most famous Verdi performances by Serafin, Abbado, Kubelik, Santini, Votto, Gavazzeni and virtuosi like Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Shirley Verret, Mirella Freni, ...and many more. Beautiful box set released as part of the 200 Year Anniversary of the Teatro alla Scala in Milano and recorded with true audiophile soundquality... see photo.
