1970 UK Silver / Black label 'Made In Gt Britain' EXPORT Pressing P - CPCS 106 Stereo LP
A fabulous item all Beatle bibliographies state that Export label copies of this album state CPCS 106, This copy has the staggeringly rare 'P' prefix
This copy is the very rare version with the large indentation ring or groove on the label that was originally thought to have been pressed by Decca as it closely resembles the groove that are unique to their pressings instead of just having the 1 1/4'' indentation ring common to discs pressed by EMI factories.
The sleeve to this album has the 'Printed and Made in Great Britain by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd' feature , with issue stated as CPCS 106
On the rear of the sleeve there is a Red / Gold ' Parlophone sticker , as Apple records were only allowed to be released in most foreign countries under the Parlophone imprint
Matrix Numbers:- Side One: YEEX 150 - 1 Side Two: YEEX 151 - 1
Condition of Vinyl:- MANY surface marks. This dose not affect the Outstanding sound quality,with the odd pop : Graded at vg
There is a chip on the edge of side 1 (see images) with a little care with the stylus I found no problem with play, dose not affect side 2
