Description
This auction is for a very rare and hard to find Elvis Presley 45.
It was his very first 45 on Sun Records out of Memphis. It was recorded on July 5th 1954 by Sam C. Phillips at the Sun Studio, Memphis and was originally released as Sun 209 on July 19th 1954.
Elvis collectors will recognize the original highly valuable Sun 1954 pressing of "That's All Right" and "Blue Moon of Kentucky" by the 3 push marks on the center of the disc coming out through the original Sun label. The matrix numbers U-128-45-72 and U-129-45-72 are noticeable on the outer grooves. This is what identifies them as original pressings. This record has all these identifying marks.
The Labels on my auction 45 have no tears or mars. This record is a VG++!!!! Very good condition.
The titles are:
'That's All Right'
'Blue Moon of Kentucky'
All payments must be made with a certified check, Money order or Paypal transfer into my account.
Record grading standards:
Mint ...Perfect record, clean gloss, no marks, beautiful in every way. Very few usually make mint.
Mint- ...Very clean only light marks, if any, most often a great record for collectors.
VG+ ... Light scratches only, will play and look very nice with minimal surface noise.
VG ... Still a nice record, will look a bit used, light scratches but no gouges, still plays well, some surface noise.
VG- ... A bit rough but will play ok. Fills the collection.
G ...Plays rough, has multiple scratches, and it's a bargain.
