PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
ULTRA rare Blue Note BST 81597 Liberty label variant from 196? There is only one Liberty pressing from 1967 that I have had pass through my hands 3 or 4 times but the font, placement and arrangement on the labels for this pressing are completely different and unique. In all my 40+ years of collecting I have never seen this variant before. Not even a Discogs entry for this one! Rare as hens teeth! Van Gelder stamp appears to be present in dead wax but is very faint and hard to see and read. LP is a gorgeous VG++/NM- and Andy Warhol drawn cover is VG with a small split in the top left hand corner on the spine.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING: MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
