Label has some light wear near center hole and a few other places. Etched in cursive on top of the label is "1/10/1901 / unreadable numbers / impecunious davis / met. Orches." Lamination has some bumping from pressing in dead wax that extends only slightly into grooves. Has light scratching throughout and some scuffing. I have only played through it once. It starts a little rough but quickly becomes an amazing playing record. Music is very loud and strong. Noise is moderate and consistent throughout but comes nowhere even close to the strength of the music. No noticeable pops or ticks. Plays through with no skips. An incredibly beautiful and fairly clean rare record. Please read below about shipping and return policies for this record. Private offers will most likely not be considered. For sale i have not one but two of the truly rare and scarce "Victor Ten Inch" label 78s. Produced for just 7 days in January 1901, before switching to the "Victor Monarch" label style, there are somewhere around 3 dozen known copies still in existence. I would argue the two copies I have for sale tonight make that roughly 38 copies, and possibly the only known copy of #3016 "Impecunious Davis" by the Metropolitan Orchestra featuring the "Victor Ten Inch" label. (#3013 by Macdonough & Westminster Chimes has appeared for sale once before in 2010 selling for $2200.)

PACKAGING

I pack all my records professionally between 4 new 10.5"x10.5" cardboard pads, wrapped in 8 ft of large bubble bubblewrap, and placed it in a well packed new 12x12x4 box. Due to the value of this item, it will be double boxed as well in a 14x14x6 box. My feedback also shows a consistent track record of buyers being pleased with how I package 78s; no need to worry about it arriving safely!
