RECORD TOTALLY EXCELLENT CONDITION BUT LABEL ON SIDE B HAS A SMALL MRT WRITEN ON IT

Village was formed by Pete Bardens in the wake of the break-up of Shotgun Express in 1967. The trio's sound was on the jazzy side of progressive rock, which may explain why they were picked to open for Chicago at Royal Albert Hall in 1969. They cut one single, "Man In The Moon" b/w "Long Time Coming," which never charted, and they broke up in early 1971. Bruce Thomas joined Quiver, later of Sutherland Brothers and . . . -fame.
