Description

For auction is this now rare, (at reasonable prices anyway), LP box set, comprising the 1969 Matrix tapes. These remain the only proper multi track recordings of the Velvets. 
This is peak VU - excellent performances of this legendary band, captured in a club environment. Contains a 35 + minute version of Sister Ray!! All the classic of the '69 period are here, as is Lou Reed's sardonic wit.
This condition is excellent. This was bought new in 2021 and I only played it once. Due to downsizing and reducing my LP collection, I have to give this great set up, having acquired the 4 CD version. This set is from a smoke and pet free home. PLEASE NOTE - The inner cardboard sleeves were all torn when I bought it. It is a known issue due to the glue coming part, as documented within the below link, where sellers on Discogs praises the music, yet mentions the poor sleeves. I decided to place all LP's into the better plastic sleeves for protection.
PRICE - This set goes for hundreds, even for pre-owned. I have set this at what I regard to be a reasonable price. Regardless, this starting price is still well below any current listing for this 8 LP set on Ebay and Discogs.
POSTAGE - Will be sent RM 24 hour tracked. Due to the size of the box as well as the weight, due to the bubble wrapping I use for protection, the price will be approximately £8.00.
