Description
HMV original white & gold ASD 367 stereo recording of the Four Seasons (Vivaldi), played by Virtuosi Roma conducted by Renato Fasano. This is record 1 of a 3 record set of "The Contest Between Harmony and Invention" - I do not have the other records.
Recording first published 1960
This record is part of my personal collection. The cover is in excellent condition, having almost no shelf wear or rear fading, just a tiny amount of creasing. There is just a small number written in pencil on the back, otherwise it looks almost new. The condition of the record itself is near mint with no marks visible under strong light - the surface has a glossy appearance. I doubt this record has been played much, therefore the surface noise of this record is expected to be minimal. Hence the realistic starting price for this now rare stereo record. The original inner sleeve shown is also included.
I have been collecting classical records for many years and have decided to sell most of them - I now listen primarily to CDs. There are some really rare items coming up over the next few months. I am not a record dealer.
