Description

You are bidding on a Vogue The Picture Record number R786 by The Down Homers. Songs include Boogie Woogie Yodel (Matrix #P52-1AA) and Baby I Found Out All About You (Matrix #50-1C). Rumor has it that Bill Haley's first band was the Down Homers. He is not on this record but presumed to have played with them. These are very limited records and were only made for two years 1946 - 1947 by Sav Way Industries of Detroit MI. A unique production method starting with a metal plate as the core, then a picture applied, vinyl poured and grooves cut. Nearly unbreakable. Colors are strong and vibrant. This disc does have minor marks but NO chips, has normal Vogue age cracks and is over 70 years old. An excellent collectible. Thanks for looking and bidding.
