THE VOYAGER GOLDEN RECORD — 3xLP Gold Vinyl Box Set (Ozma Records)
Limited Kickstarter First Pressing — Individually Numbered. Opened, near mint, never played.

The first-ever vinyl release of NASA's interstellar message to the cosmos — the "Sounds of Earth" record carried aboard the Voyager 1 and 2 probes launched in 1977. Produced by Ozma Records for Voyager's 40th anniversary, this box set won the 2018 Grammy Award for Best Boxed or Special Limited-Edition Package.

This is the sought-after Kickstarter first pressing — the original limited edition made only for the campaign's backers, which Ozma has stated will never be reproduced. It is distinguished from the later retail edition by its individually numbered box (this copy is No. 08229), hardcover art book, and gold-foil printing (the retail reissue is unnumbered, softcover, and uses flat metallic ink).

The original Voyager Interstellar Record was created by a committee chaired by Carl Sagan, with Frank Drake, Ann Druyan, Jon Lomberg, Linda Salzman Sagan, and producer Timothy Ferris — whose essay appears in this set.

CONDITION
Opened, but the records are unplayed and in excellent near-mint condition. The box, jackets, hardcover book, and inserts are all present and clean. The gold-foil cover shows some light surface scratching visible under direct light (shown in the photos) — typical of this foil finish and consistent with careful handling; the box is otherwise sharp with strong corners.

CONTENTS
- Three translucent gold vinyl LPs
- Three heavyweight jackets with gold-foil artwork on black
- Hardcover art book — images from the original Voyager Interstellar Record, a gallery of images sent back from the probes, and an essay by Timothy Ferris

- Voyager trajectories turntable slipmat (gold on black felt)
- Digital download card (MP3 / FLAC)
