White Summer: same 1976, USA/No Label 6034N7. Disc is in beautiful EX to M- shape, a few scant hairlines, plays perfectly, of course. Cover has been modified by a band member or insider, I guess he had an idea to dress up the stark white cover and taped on a cool slick with cryptic artwork (snake/skull/axe/crucifix) that seems well-suited to me. There was another piece of tape added to a ding on the top seam. The tape is old and yellowed and two of the five pieces are now missing. This modification was definitely done way back when the LP was new, it has the appearance of an early prototype cover... but make no mistake, all the printing on the white cover was done with a printing press and it appears to be entirely stock like the other known copies of the LP with the exception of the added slick. Hard to grade, as it's only lightly soiled and has no splits, but the yellowed clear tape is certainly unsightly, I guess a VG grade would be acceptable. Amazing item up for grabs here! This LP is certainly one of the rarest private hard rockers from the USA, it's on lots of want-lists and damn near impossible to find. It's also easily counterfeited so be careful what you're bidding on if you see any mint copies offered. Musically, this Michigan trio's LP has lots of echo-laden guitarwork and whiskey-soaked vocals, more a throwback to the early 70s hippie hard rock scene than an attempt at metal. Some of the tracks have a real druggy sound that reminds me of the Euphoria "Lost In Trance" LP or the Stud LP on Baron Records. Recorded at Uncle Dirty's Sound Machine studio in Kalamazoo by Bryce Roberson in early 1976. "Omega", "BMF", "The Tank", etc. Holy grail item for USA hard rock collectors!

I pack/ship once a week, usually on Friday. I use sturdy cardboard boxes designed for shipping records, and I remove the disc from the cover to prevent seam splits during shipment.
