WINDY CORNER - The house at Windy Corner -Original! Rarest of the rare! Windy Corner - The house at Windy Corner. On the label Buckly Records - DER 977a-b1. 1973 Pressed at Deroy Sound Service in the UK.
Deroy is famous for a lot of collectable folk and rock LP’s on their ‘label’.
100 copies of the Windy Corner LP were pressed and they very seldom show up. Rare a as hens teeth and very collectable. Windy Corner was a Dutch band from Amsterdam.The band designed their own sleeve and label, Buckly.
The sleeve has a glued on photo of the band at the rehearsal place. They also build some of their equipment.
The project is very DIY and Lo-fi but with great result! This is a great album that sounds fine. The music is described as easy, psych-folk with progressive leanings, dreamy vocals, electric and acoustic guitars, organ, and a rhythm section.
Some great instrumental suite-like playing.
