Another from my personal collection! The vinyl and sleeve are always stored seperately in a case for protection. This is how I have always stored my records!  I have been collecting UK Beatles albums for more than 45 years and have accumilated more than 1000 UK Beatles albums alone! Here on offer, from my private collection, an original early 1st UK pressing of With The Beatles 1963 recording and released in 1963! 1st UK  pressings in top condition are becoming extreemely scarce to find , with the Corrected Label Pressing this is the second label variation very few were pressed with -1n matyrix endings later pressed were soon featureing 3n matrix variations)) and even rarer is the original flip back cover printed by 'E.Day &  Co.' it is probable that less than 10% only were printed by E.day most are seen with the more common Garrod & Lofthouse covers! Also I must emphisize that the cover has the corrected track listing for 'You Really Got A Hold On Me' very rare to find on an E.Day cover for this album! The real collectability is the absolutely awesome condition! It is quite obvious that the vinyl has had just very minimal play only and there are no audio sounding marks on the vinyl that would cause any clicks or pops! Even if you find a copy of this variation on the net it is normally found played to death, but this copy is worthy of being the final upgrade quality in my opinion!

Highly collectable and sought after, especially in this archive condition. 

To make this even more desirable, the audio plays through  cristal clear and very vibrant without clicks or pops and no distortion, almost like new on my systems! Play tested three times prior to this listing at very loud volume on a top system, Importantly using a dedicated mono cartridge. Absolutely stunning top top Mono audio on all frequencies!!

This album is totaly complete with the original poly lined Emitex record sleeve and original 1st issue Garrod & Lofthouse flipback cover!

This album was the second album to be released by the Beatles in the UK in 1963 and of course a classic! So as you can imagine many are found played to death and are found badly scratched with nasty distortion. To find a copy like this after 47 years is becoming extreemely difficult to find! Please look at my completed listings of records that I have sold of this calaber and you will see that I normally get it right! 

With the Beatles' second British album, recorded four months after the band's first album and released on 22 November 1963!

The album features eight original compositions (including the first by George Harrison) and six covers, mostly of Motown and R&B hits. Most of the songs from the album were released in the United States on Meet the Beatles! on 20 January 1964!

The LP had advance orders of a half million and sold another half million by September 1965 — making it the second album to sell a million copies in the UK (the first being the South Pacific soundtrack). It stayed at the top of the charts for 21 weeks, displacing Please Please Me, so that the Beatles occupied the top spot for 51 consecutive weeks. It even reached number eleven in the "singles charts" (because at the time UK charts counted all records sold, regardless of format)!

 THE VINYL

This original 49 year old vinyl, on initial inspection of the playing surface looks superbe. In fact I find it hard to even see a blemish even when angled to the light! Any marks that there could possibly be would be light whyspy sleeve removal only! At least no marks that would be audio sounding, that would cause any clicks or pops at all! (Please note this is the orinal thick , heavy and chunky slab of vinyl only found like this on the earliest pressings.) The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free of any warping! Quite unbeleivable to find on a Beatles record after 49 years!

 The Audio Quality

I have played this vinyl three times prior to listing, at very loud volume on a top system,, importantly using a dedicated mono cartridge! This 49 year old vinyl plays through absolutely superbe throughout! The audio was cristal clear and very vibrant with that deep bassey feel , only found like this on these earliest originals! I heard (no) clicks or pops during the audio and importantly no distortion or signs that this has been overplayed at all! Certainly no skips or jumps! Even in between tracks , any surface static is extreemely minimal, quite unbeleivable to find like this after 49 years!  Amaizingly even in between tracks this vinyl is lovely and quiet,, without the usual background surface noise that is so often heard on these early pressings. I would grade the audio at least excellent plus to  near mint throughout!

THE LABELS 

This is the original Yellow and Black Parlohone labels! without ''SOLD IN THE UK............''  Across the labels.(Only early press) ''THE PARLOPHONE  CO LTD ...'' Around the label rims (only early press) A truly unique scarce copy, the credit for 'MONEY' IS 'DOMINION BELINDA'!!!! ''MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN''.! (UK PRESS ONLY)! (This is the second  variation with corrected credits ) rarely seen with the -1N -1N Matrix endings!

There is little if (no) spindle ware (the hole is perfectly round) see photo. Very minimal spidering can be seen angled in strong light  (this has barely ever been played at all,, definately not overplayed )The K.T. tax code is stamped on side 2.

THE RECORD SLEEVE

This is the original Emitex ,poly lined record sleeve (Correct for this pressing) Becoming fragile with age with very light staining/creasing only (no) egde splits or tares! Please note, (there is a small tare around the die cut hole on one side only) THIS IS THE ORIGINAL!

THE COVER

The original   UK PRESS  E.DAY & CO LIMITED. super glossy laminated front LARGE flipbacks at the rear of the cover! The rounded spine is unique to E.day covers! This is perfect! This is very near perfect! There is no splits or tares!  Amaizingly there is no real laminate creases to mention (very very rare to find) and no real nasty, just very light rubbing\ ware with age. NO REAL fading/staining at the rear any is minor in my opinion not really worth to mention. This cover features the track ''You Really Got A Hold On Me'  corrected' ''You Really Gotta Hold On Me''   This cover must grade at least excellent plus to very near mint in my opinion.
