Another from my personal collection! The vinyl and sleeve are always stored seperately in a case for protection. This is how I have always stored my records! I have been collecting UK Beatles albums for more than 45 years and have accumulated more than 1000 UK Beatles albums alone! Here on offer, from my private collection, an original early UK pressing of With The Beatles 1963 recording and released in 1963! This pressing features the final mono matrix variation for this album -7N-7N matrix variation with the K.T. tax code stamped on side 1. Beatles UK pressings in top condition are becoming extremely scarce to find especially like this. Also I must emphasize that the cover has the un-corrected track listing for 'You Really Got A Hold On Me' and in absolutely tip top condition very clean graded at least excellent plus to very near mint in my opinion. Please note! The vinyls playing surface is very nice and clean, importantly there are no marks that cause any interference during the absolutely stunning top audio through out! It is quite obvious that the vinyl has barely ever been played at all and looks like it has only been played no more than a hand full of times ever in my opinion. There are no audio sounding marks on the vinyl that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops and certainly no skips or jumps during the audio! Please note! Any who know that my main interest in vinyl is the audio quality. I have all of the many Matrix variation for this album that I know exist. This particular copy is up there with one of the best that I have heard. So rich and vibrant throughout! Play tested three times on a top system prior to this listing using a dedicated mono cartridge!
Near as Mint Audio Archive Copy!
Don't take my word for it , listen to the complete album in the player below.( Actual recording from this vinyl listed)
Hear the complete album in the player below (Actual recording from the vinyl)
Highly collectable and sought after, especially with this rare in this condition -7N-7N Matrix endings!
To make this even more desirable, the audio plays through cristal clear and very vibrant without clicks or pops and no distortion during the audio! (Amazingly No real interference noted even in between tracks) hear for your self in the player above, actual recording from the vinyl!
Play tested three times prior to this listing at very loud volume on a top system, Importantly using a dedicated mono cartridge. Absolutely stunning top top Mono audio on all frequencies!
This album is totaly complete with the original poly lined Emitex record sleeve and original 1st issue Garrod & Lofthouse flipback cover!
This album was the second album to be released by the Beatles in the UK in 1963 and of course a classic! So as you can imagine many are found played to death and are found badly scratched with nasty distortion.
To find a copy like this after 47 years is becoming extreemely difficult to find! Please look at my completed listings of records that I have sold of this calaber and you will see that I normally get it right!
With the Beatles' second British album, recorded four months after the band's first album and released on 22 November 1963!
The album features eight original compositions (including the first by George Harrison) and six covers, mostly of Motown and R&B hits. Most of the songs from the album were released in the United States on Meet the Beatles! on 20 January 1964!
The LP had advance orders of a half million and sold another half million by September 1965 ó making it the second album to sell a million copies in the UK (the first being the South Pacific soundtrack).
It stayed at the top of the charts for 21 weeks, displacing Please Please Me, so that the Beatles occupied the top spot for 51 consecutive weeks. It even reached number eleven in the "singles charts" (because at the time UK charts counted all records sold, regardless of format)!

THE VINYL
This original 50 year old vinyl, on initial inspection of the playing surface looks superb and lays perfectly flat on the turntable. This is free of any warping. Even when looked at in strong light I find it hard to notice any real surface marks, very rare to find like this after 50 years believe me!, importantly at least there is nothing that would cause any real noticeable interference during the audio! Any other marks that there could possibly be would be light whispy sleeve removal/scuffs only! At least no marks that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops during the audio! (Please note this is the original thick , heavy and chunky slab of vinyl only found like this on the earliest pressings.) The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free of any warping! Quite unbelievable to find on a Beatles record after 50 years!
The Audio Quality
I have played this vinyl three times prior to listing, at very loud volume on a top system,, importantly using a dedicated mono cartridge! This 50 year old vinyl plays through absolutely superb throughout! One of the best sounding copies that I have ever heard of this variation! The audio was crystal clear and very vibrant with that deep bassey feel , only found like this on these earliest originals! I heard (no) clicks or pops during the audio and importantly no distortion or signs that this has been overplayed at all! There are Certainly no skips or jumps! Even in between tracks , any surface static is barely noticeable at all, quite unbeievable to find like this after 50 years! Amazingly even in between tracks this vinyl is lovely and quiet,, without the usual background surface noise that is so often heard on these early Beatles pressings. I would grade the audio at least excellent plus to near as mint throughout!
An audiophile Audio archive copy never need to upgrade in my opinion!
hear for your self in the player above, actual recording from the vinyl!
Please note! I always add this disclaimer! I have given my honest opinion when describing the audio quality of this album and those who know the listings and vinyls that i sell my prime interest is the audio quality! Please allow for the odd isolated static but nothing consistent through out the audio! This is a genuine (not) reissue vinyl that is 50 years old and would have originally been played on a system that is 50 years old!
Please note, this album has been stored in a case laying dormant for at least 45 years or more. A build up of dirt and dust in the grooves causes static\ crackle. A constant clean before each play is recommended. This will reduce any static and will enhance the audio quality. Points to note, I notice debrit on the playing surface after play so this will need cleaning before each play which will further enhance this audio quality.
THE LABELS
This is the original Yellow and Black Rough textured Parlophone labels! without ''SOLD IN THE UK............'' Across the labels.(Only early press) ''THE PARLOPHONE CO LTD ...'' Around the label rims (only early press) A truly unique scarce copy, ''MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN''.! (UK PRESS ONLY)!
There is little if (no) spindle ware (the hole is perfectly round) see photo. When looked at an angle I notice two light scratch marks on the labels to mention only but not noticed unless looked for when angled in certain lights only in my opinion. Amazingly I can barely see just very few very very feint spider trails around the spindle hole even when angled in strong light (this has obviously barely ever been played and certainly not overplayed in my opinion!
THE RECORD SLEEVE
This is the original Emitex ,poly lined record sleeve (Correct for this pressing) Becoming fragile light creasing/staining with age only No edge splits or tears nice condition. Please note, THIS IS THE ORIGINAL!
THE COVER
The original UK PRESS GARROD & LOFTHOUSE Printed. super glossy laminated front with flip backs at the rear of the cover! There is no splits or tares! Amaizingly there is no real main laminate creases to mention (very very rare to find (any creases or indents are very minor indeed to mention) and no real rubbing to mention light staining/yellowing/fading with age is slight only worth to mention and only under the laminate noticed if looked for. A real beauty in my opinion. The rear is exceptionally clean, again any grubbyness is very feint and not noticed unless looked for. This cover features the track ''You Really Got A Hold On Me' un-corrected' ''You Really Gotta Hold On Me'' The spine is also lovely and square a real treat like this!
This cover must grade at least excellent plus in my opinion. Try to find a better cover, impossible like this!
