Excellent jazz from Zimbabwe (then Rhodesia)! The Cold Storage Commission band aka the "Bulawayo Sweet Rhythms Band" had a monster international hit with their song "Skokiaan." Really, they were a top saxophones and string band combo active in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Hugh Tracey recorded them, and this is one of their harder to find tracks. Upbeat, wonderful African jazz. Stellar!

Condition: E- (light wear, plays very well)
