The rolliing stones       exile on main street      original  1972 first pressing.  

 

exile on main street   the rolling stones      coc 69100   rolling stones records tm musidor distributed by kinney record group ltd. 1972 by shorewood packaging co, ltd  England.

 

This is the first pressing of the rolling stones exile on main street with both inners and internal inners, a full set of twelve mint intact postcards all housed in the original plastic bag and a gatefold sleeve with the text on the right side spine edge.

The both vinyls have rolling stones records etched into the run off groves on all four sides, starting on side one- st-rs-722507 side two- st.rs.722508  side three- st-rs-722509 and side four- st-rs-722510  

 The stampers  A2 B1 C2 B2  

 

These rarely turn up in such fantastic and beautiful condition as these, the both vinyls have a pristine appearance and don't look like they have ever seen a turntable at all with hardly any trace of spindle alignment on the labels and with bright heavy glossy vinyl on all four sides. All unmarked and all in perfect mint condition.

 

The audio quality is out of this world, i have tested all four sides on a clearaudio champion and they all sound absolutly perfect.

 

The  hard card cover is absolutly perfect with no marks of any kind, the text on the right hand side spine is clear and readable , has the occasional crease on the rear of the sleeve, but is still a great cover, the internal envelope for housing the records is perfect and not ripped, a rarity as these usually always turn up ripped, this one is perfect.

 

Both coloured inners with  original internal inners are perfect and unmarked.

 

The twelve postcards are all perfect and intact and housed in its original small plastic bag. 

 

 

Graded using the record collectors grading system:  

Mint : The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items including lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/ creasing. 

Very good : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is ecceptable.
