THIS DISC IS OFFERED TO DEDICATED COLLECTORS OF RARE AVENUE RECORDED PRODUCTIONS
Here we have a copy of AVENUE 75 7" MINI L.P. containing 6 full length hits of 1969 ~ for titles please see photo.
This record and its accompanying black and white sleeve is an extremely rare issue of AVENUE 74. This non-laminated sleeve was issued in a very limited number just before AVENUE'S contract to supply the supermarket chain TESCO with their recorded product. By way of reducing costs to enable TESCO to offer extremely low prices on these discs, only standard coloured paper sleeves were issued on all 7" product.
This guaranteed unplayed disc is from a private collection obtained from Gordon Melville who was Managing Director of AVENUE RECORDS at the time of its release.
Recording artists on this album include DAVID BYRON and PETER LEE STIRLING a.k.a. DANIEL BOONE.
The provenance of this disc is that it has been stored in a smoke free environment since its year of manufacture and has NEVER BEEN PLAYED.
This disc is a valuable find for any serious collector of rare AVENUE RECORDINGS.
