I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A NICE COLLECTION OF UNIQUE PROMOS / TEST PRESSING AND ACETATE. THIS COLLECTION CAME FROM A PERSON WHO USED TO WORK IN A MAJOR RADIO STATION FROM THE LATE 1960'S TO THE EARLY 1990'S. THERE ARE UNIQUE TEST PRESSING ACETATE ETC.. OF ROCK / PUNK / SOUL / PROG ETC... SO PLEASE KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS FOR THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME CHANCE TO GET THESE UNIQUE TEST PRESSINGS AND ACETATES.
This is a RARE UK ORIGINAL AND UNIQUE UTOPIA STUDIOS ACETATE 7" SINGLE of the SEMINAL SINGLE by BAND AID from 1984, ORIGINAL UK ACETATE IN AMAZING CONDITON AND A MUST !!!
This is a rare ACETATE of the BAND AID single from 1984 which includes, and should be of interest to: U2 / DURAN DURAN / PAUL WELLER / STATUS QUO / PHIL COLLINS / STING / MIDGE URE from ULTRAVOX, collectors amongst many others !!!
This ACETATE was rushed off to an important RADIO PERSON (from which this whole collection came from) to get some early airplay way before any vinyl pressings were made and the white die cut sleeve + hand written insert include a lot of hand written information about who is on the single and the order of singing !!!
This ACETATE 7" was pressed in 1984 by PHONOGRAM RECORDS in the UTOPIA STUDIOS pressing plant.
The tracks are: DO THE KNOW IT'S CHRISTMAS? / SIDE 2 is blank.
The condition of the acetate is EX++ / EX+++ (PLAYED ONCE, amazing for a 30 years acetate).
DON'T LET THIS RARE ORIGINAL UK SEMINAL ACETATE 7" get away as you will NEVER see another one.
DUE TO A RECENT ISSUE ALL PARCELS OVER £20.00 WILL NOW HAVE TO BE POSTED REGISTERED POST at extra cost of £1.50 (UK) and £5.20 (REST OF THE WORLD) !!!
