This is the "RVG" etched, Deep Groove, P-pressing of BUD POWELL’s "The Amazing Bud Powell, Vol. 1” on the "767 Lexington Ave” labels of Blue Note BLP 1503. Musicians include Fats Navarro, Sonny Rollins, Bud Powell, Tommy Potter, Roy Haynes.

VINYL plays cleanly with LIGHT SURFACE NOISE AKA LIGHT STATIC in some spots, heard infrequently. Ensemble sections are very dynamic and clear above the surface noise. No Skips. No distortion. Very Good gloss. Handful of hairline marks, couple feelable. (If you can't feel it you won't hear it). The Deep Groove "767 Lexington Ave” labels are generally clean with spindle marks. See photos.

COVER is in Good shape, corners worn. Seams and spine show cracking, lower seam taped. Some wrinkling. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 43 WEST 61st St., New York 23" back jacket shows kin writing, taped seam, 2" torn paper stock. lease see photos.
