This is the "RVG" etched, Deep Groove, P-pressing of BUD POWELL’s "The Amazing Bud Powell, Vol 1” on the "New York / 47 West 63rd” labels of Blue Note BLP 1503. Musicians include Fats Navarro, Sonny Rollins, Bud Powell, Tommy Potter, Roy Haynes.
VINYL plays very well, clean, with LIGHT BACKGROUND POPS OR TICKS. Ensemble sections are super dynamic, punchy and clear. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Very Good gloss. Clean surface with a few hairline marks. The Deep Groove "New York / 47 West 63rd” labels are generally clean with spindle marks. See photos.
