THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
This wonderful sounding UK STEREO pressing dates from early-1969 and is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3042
Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK...' text with 'The Gramophone Co...' worded rims, but no purchase tax code on either label.
Earliest/1st pressing matrices: YEX 94-1 & YEX 95-1
Stamper codes: 2/MD & 1/AO
Vinyl weight: 137g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed tri-flipback cover with a small front 'stereo' indicator
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve

A bright and unworn pair bearing just 2/3 light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Perfectly clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart from a single tiny 5mm hairline on track 4 on side 2 are unmarked in strong daylight. Closer examination beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals on a few harmless wispy marks from inner-sleeve storage/removal.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
Little played, this unworn clean and clear sounding copy is free from any trace of groove/playwear distortion in either channel. My careful play-check revealed a little light vinyl background between tracks but no clicks, pops or any other such distraction. The aforementioned mark is not audible and has no affect on sound quality or play.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean & firm example which retains an unworn/unscratched high-gloss front panel bearing just a handful of light wrinkles & bends to the upper and lower right corners areas, but no 'thumbnails' creases.
There is slight bruising to the corners but no significant signs of wear to either opening edge. The exposed rear panel is clean and unblemished and all flipbacks are fully intact.
There is a tiny nick to the spine but it is otherwise unworn & fully worded. Both seams are smooth & unstressed.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
