1968 UK 2nd PRESS *STEREO* LP

VERY RARE **NORWEIGIAN WOOD** LABEL MISSPELLING


One of the rarer label variants which appeared only on very early '-3' matrix stereo second pressings in 1968.
The side one label misspells 'Norwegian Wood' as 'Norweigan Wood'.

This extremely rare 1968 second stereo pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label PCS 3075
As described above, the side one label misspells 'Norwegian Wood' as 'Norweigan Wood'.
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' and 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims
There is no tax/price code visible on either label.
Housed in a front laminated, flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' cover

Audio: NEAR MINT

I have played the LP loudly and it sounds completely 'as new'. I can find no audible faults.
All tracks and bands play without any crackle, groovewear/loud passage distortion clicks, pops, jumps or repeats .

Visual: EXCELLENT PLUS

This LP has clearly not been handled or played more than a few times during the last 39 years and the surfaces are bright, clean and glossy.
There are two circular surface scuffs on the side two run-off only and a few sleeve removal hairlines are visible but no other visible wear.


Cover: EXCELLENT MINUS

A very strong and clean example displaying just light handling and storage wear.
The front panel is deep and rich in colour with only minor bruising to the corners but the opening edge is clean and unworn.
The rear panel is clean with very minor discolouration but no marks or writing.
The spine is clean and clear and all seams and flipbacks are strong and undamaged.
