Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces are in pristine, unmarked condition in daylight & retain their 'as new' deep gloss shines with no dulling or groove-whitening to either side.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few unavoidable, barely visible inner-sleeve removal marks on side 2, but no scratches or other signs of wear.
Audio: Side 1: NEAR MINT Side 2: EXCELLENT PLUS
Having listened carefully at volume, I am pleased to report that this often overplayed disc plays without any significant or major signs of audible wear.
Frequently worn areas such as the fadeout on 'Dear Prudence' play without any background crackle and the guitar solo on 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' is free from peakwear distortion or break-up.
The easily dmaged introduction to 'Martha My Dear' and the deilcate 'Blackbird' are unworn and play without intereference
In fact, apart from a hint of minor background on 'Julia' (a pressing fault rather than playwear I feel), there is little to fault anywhere.
Again, just one or two spindle marks on each label.
Visual: NEAR MINT
As with disc 1, both surfaces are completely unmarked and extremely bright & clean, with their deep, 'as new' gloss shines fully intact.
I could find no scratches or any other signs of visual wear in daylight or directly beneath a halogen desk lamp.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This disc has also received just one or two careful plays and again I detected no trace of any crackle, peak/groovewear distortion anywhere.
Even the delicate introduction to 'Mother Nature's Son' and the easily worn innermost tracks on each side play perfectly without any distortion or wear.
Happily again, there are no clicks, ticks or any other interference throughout either side.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A very respectable clean card example which dispite some light natural age-toming, bears no significant or major signs of wear.
The laminate is 100% alll-round and retains its high-gloss finish with no scuff or scratches front or rear. It also remains unsplit around the raised wording on the front panel.
There are bruises to the lower corners but the upper two are unworn. All the top-opening edges are clean & sharp with just two tiny indentations to each, but no tears.
The inside is in pristine 'as new' condition and has clearly not been opened in many years.
The spine is is clean & unbent and retains a 100% laminate covering with no splits.
All the text is fully covered & readable.
Paul has a slight scratch across his nose, but all other are perfect.
Poster: NEAR MINT Photo Spacer: NEAR MINT Black inners: EXCELLENTMinor storagewear but no tears, splits or missing paper.
