The Beatles "Magical Mystery Tour" Capitol MAL-2835 1967 gatefold LP in untorn shrinkwrap with round Sav-on sticker of $3.97. This is definitely one of the finest covers...a near-mint cover with only a couple of things keeping it from being the best ever offered: there are two ultra-small micro-pushes (one in the bottom edge and one on the mouth-side edge...these are so small it's somewhat superfluous to mention but on high-end pieces quite warranted). There is also what appears to be the ubiquitous "front-side-only" staple marks at the very, very top left corner to the left of the price-sticker - you can truly barely see them. The shrinkwrap has 3 breathe-holes on the back near the top. The record is near mint on both sides with stunning labels (east coast). I should note here mono Magical Mystery Tours in top condition rarely come up for sale - they are mega-rare. For some uncanny reason, the covers always have at least one major detraction (usually a seamsplit)...and the records usually always have at least one major scratch. This one is a nice "keeper".
