Very Good // Excellent Condition - Vinyl is excellent. Bright, glossy, virtually unmarked. The outer sleeve is very good. Generally, overall its very good # however it does have a major crease / fold down the middle - north to south. # Please see the photos. Apart from the crease, the sleeve is in very good condition with minimal shelf or edgewear. Very early issue with "hype sticker" The inner lyric sleeve is very good condition with just minor creases. The labels are clean with no spindle marks .
Brief history - I used to be involved in the physical distribution of vinyl records. I was also a big fan / supporter of Billy Bragg. Billy Bragg signed to Go-Disc records around 1984 and they launched a fundraising promotion to support the Miners Strike. This was pre-E-Bay and pre-internet (!). It was a paper list of music related items that Go-Discs had or could get. You pledged a price, returned the list, got a confirmation letter, and sent a cheque. This disc is what I got. With the crease / fold. I like to think the crease occurred back stage at a gig while being signed..... But who knows.... The disc comes with a letter from Go-Discs apologising for late delivery. It is fully signed by the original 1984 line-up - Stuart Adamson, Bruce Watson, Tony Butler and Mark Brzezicki Signatures in ball-point pen (it was also pre sharpie) Owned by me for 38 years and stored in a PVC sleeve, its in the same condition as I received it in.
