Description
Absolutely stunning copy of the original 1979 promo pressing of Grisman’s Hot Dawg LP on Horizon SP-731. This is the Grisman group at its unequalled height, featuring the great Tony Rice as well as Darol Anger, Mike Marshall, Todd Philips, and even an appearance by Stephane Grappelli himself. Stunning bluegrass jazz, I guess you would call it. One of the great records of its type, and a truly magnificent copy. Still in the shrinkwrap and almost completely mint, this is a rare promo copy with the gold promo stamp on the back and the hype sticker on the front. The disc is nearly pristine, with only one very light superficial scuff that does not at all affect the play in the least. It is barely noticeable, a nearly perfect record. Plays totally perfectly. The cover is also very nearly mint and just stunningly crisp. A beautiful, beautiful original promo copy, impossible to beat.
